What a clan is

Everything about clans: how to found one, how it levels up, ranks, Reputation, the weekly missions, the banner, clan armor and the Clan Castle.

A clan is a group of characters who play together: they level up as one, complete missions every week, share a chat, go down into dungeons together and fight over the Clan Castle. Each character belongs to one clan at a time.

• Founding a clan costs 500K gold, which stays with the clan and never comes back, and needs a level 10 character.
• The clan board stands in the square at the center of the city, always with the golden exclamation mark above it. There you can browse clans by name, tag, language and focus, ask to join, or found a new one.
• The G key opens your clan window: members, missions, log, settings, the banner and clan armor. If you have no clan yet, it walks you to the board.
• After leaving a clan, or being kicked, you must wait 24 h before joining another.
• Join requests and invitations with no answer expire after 7 days.
• The chat has a Clan channel only your clan can read, and you can invite another player with a right click on them. What the clan says is kept for 7 days: when you log in you see what you missed, with a line where you stopped reading.
• In Notices, inside the clan window, the leader and officers leave the message of the day, up to 3 pinned orders and up to 5 rallies with a day and time. Each member answers whether they are going, and anything new shows up in a notice when you log in, even if you were offline.
• To talk to someone privately, even when they are offline, there is mail: open it with N or by right-clicking another player, and letters wait in their inbox for 30 days. With Discord linked and while you are not playing, letters, clan orders and rallies also reach you by private message, and there is a reminder half an hour before each rally. On your phone, the Inbox page on guildlands.com shows your characters' notices and letters, and you can answer there without opening the game.
