Adventures
Adventures are the backbone of leveling: a chain of stages in one zone, handed out by an NPC in the village. Every stage can be repeated as often as you like, each one brings slightly stronger enemies, and the last one brings the zone’s boss. Clearing the last stage unlocks the next adventure.

How experience works
Experience is the sum of the enemies you defeat: there is no bonus for finishing, and if you fall halfway you keep what you already beat. Enemies at your level or up to 3 levels below pay in full; after that each level below takes 15% off, down to a floor of 10%. More than 10 levels below you they give no experience, but they still count for quests. Enemies above you pay 5% more per level, up to 20%.

Dungeons
Dungeons open along the way, one every five levels: short, expensive in energy and hard.
