Market
The player market: an order book for stackables, fixed-price listings for gear, a fee on each sale, and what can and cannot be sold.
The market runs on in-game gold.
Two formats
- Order book. Stackables, such as materials, go through an order book: players post buys and sells at a price, and the market price comes out of that.
- Listings. Gear goes through fixed-price listings: every copy has its own rarity and stats, so it sells piece by piece.
The order book
- A buy order pays when you place it: its payment is held until the order fills or you cancel it. A sell order hands over its units when you place it.
- Trades happen at the price of the order that was already in the book: if you bid above an ask, you pay the ask and the difference goes back to your balance.
- Nobody trades against themselves: a buy and a sell from the same account never match.
- If what you bought does not fit in your stash, it waits in the market box until you collect it.
What cannot be sold
Fee and limits
| Rule | Value |
|---|---|
| Fee per sale (regular / Order) | 8% / 5% |
| Listing fee (gear and sell orders) | 1% |
| Open orders per account | 20 |
| Active listings per account (regular / Order) | 3 / 20 |
| Units per order | 100,000 |
| Minimum price per unit | 1 |
| Maximum price per unit | 100,000M |
The seller pays the fee: they receive the price minus 8% (5% for Order members). The buyer pays exactly the price they saw.
Listing gear or placing a sell order costs 1% of the total, paid up front and not refunded even if you cancel. Buy orders pay no listing fee.
How to open it
- In the game, with the K key or the Market button on the bar: the pocket market, without leaving the world.
- From the inventory, with Sell on any item that can be traded.
- The full Market, on its own page. It uses your game session, so log into the game first.
Players set the prices: the game fixes none, and it never buys or sells on the market.
