Selling to merchants

Some merchants also buy what you gather, craft or find on your outings. It is the quick way to turn what you have left over into a bit of gold.

A fixed, low price

Every item has a fixed price, the same for everyone, and it is low on purpose: the real business is selling to other players on the market. Each item page in this wiki shows how much the merchant pays for it.

Too much of the same

Selling a lot of the same item in one day lowers its price: the first 3,000 gold of each item is paid in full, and after that the price keeps dropping until it reaches 10%.

Daily limit

Each account has a daily limit, adding up all its characters: the first 30,000 gold is paid in full, the next 30,000 at 40% and from then on at 5%.

What cannot be sold

Merchants do not buy chests, keys, the megaphone, the castle permit, the rebirth potion, the elixir of oblivion, burnt food, clan tabards or bound books.
