Gear

Every piece exists in five grades and five rarities. The grade sets the level and the power; the rarity sets how many attributes it carries. The line decides which ones.

#Example

The name says everything: "Bulwark Cuirass" is the SLOT (cuirass) and the SET (Bulwark, which decides what attributes it carries and which rung it is on). Every rung of every line has its own name, so the Bulwark one is not the Rampart one with a number: it is another piece. Rarity is not in the name either — it is the color — and adds five levels and one attribute per step: that same cuirass, epic, asks for level 31 instead of 16 and carries four attributes instead of one.

#Grade

Five grades, each asking eight levels more than the last. Power does not rise evenly with level: it rises faster, so a piece of the next grade is worth the wait even if you are still levels away from using it.
