Creators

Guildlands grows with its community. If you follow a creator, their code joins you to their community in the game. If you make content, every player you bring who stays to play earns you Creator Points: with them you climb the Ladder and redeem rewards money can't buy, like your NPC in Aurelia or an item with your name.

The creator code

Every creator in the program has a code. Using it says which community you come from.

  • With their link: go to guildlands.com/r/CODE (the one they share in videos or streams) and create your account. The code is set automatically.
  • By typing it: in the character list, in the Creator code box, during your account's first 7 days.
  • One per account, forever: it is set once and never changes.
  • No advantage: it doesn't make you stronger or faster. It's belonging, not power.

For creators

The program is invite-only: the team activates each creator by hand.

  • If you make videos, streams or gaming posts, write to us on Discord: discord.guildlands.com.
  • You get your code, your link and an account for your portal at cc.guildlands.com.
  • Your characters carry a halo in the world: motes of light rising from their feet, in the color of your channel (YouTube red, Twitch purple, Kick green or one you choose).
  • In the Aurelia square, left of the center, stands the Creator Stage: a platform with a screen showing a program creator’s channel live, with their character standing in front. For now it plays a Twitch channel.
  • Sign-ups don't pay: what counts is players who stay to play.

Points and Seals

Everything your community brings is measured in Creator Points. You have two balances:

  • Total Points: everything you have earned. They don't go down when you redeem. They set your step, your ranking and your share of the launch pool.
  • Spendable Points: what you have left to spend in the Creator Shop.

Seals are the Points each player who joins with your code earns you by reaching these levels:

Your referral reachesReal play, approx.Points
Level 108 hours+10
Level 2047 hours+30
Level 30130 hours+60

A Seal counts when all of this is true:

  • It counts once per account, with its best character: three characters from the same person are not three players.
  • A 7-day review runs from when the level is reached. Meanwhile your portal shows it as under review.
  • The account has its email or Discord verified.
  • It played on at least 5 different days: an idle game can be left running, and what counts is a person who comes back.

Community milestones

Beyond each player, what your whole community achieves is rewarded too. Every milestone has stages: when enough of your players reach it, you earn that stage's Points, once and forever.

Players count once they joined 7 days ago or more, with a verified account and 5 different days played. What pays the most takes weeks of real play.

The Creator Ladder

Your total Points take you up the Ladder. Each step is granted once and is yours forever.

PointsStepReward
10 ApprenticeYour Creator title and the cosmetic that marks your community.
50 MinstrelGiveaway kit: 10 codes of 100 crystals to give away on your streams. From here on, every step adds a new kit.

Point counting and giveaway kits are automatic. The other rewards are delivered by the team, one by one.

The Creator Shop

What the Ladder grants late, the Shop lets you get sooner. You pay with spendable Points, and your step never goes down.

Your portal

At cc.guildlands.com you sign in with the account the team gives you and see everything, up to date:

  • Your link and sublinks, one per video or campaign (guildlands.com/r/CODE/tournament), to know which content brought people in.
  • Your people's journey: clicks, accounts, first character and who reached level 10, 20 and 30.
  • Your referrals by character, level and class, and whether they keep playing. Never their emails or data.
  • Your total and spendable Points, your Seals under review and what they are missing.
  • Your community milestones: how many players meet each one and how far the next stage is.
  • Which step you are on, the Shop and the status of your rewards.
  • The creator ranking, only with those who choose to appear.
  • Your giveaway kit codes, ready to copy.

When payments open

Today the game has no payments. When they open, what you did before counts too:

  • Launch pool: the plan is to set aside a share of what comes in during the first months of payments and split it among creators by the total Points they gathered before launch.
  • Lifetime commission: a percentage of what the players you brought spend in the game.
  • Founders: creators who join before launch become Founders, with a higher commission percentage.

It is a percentage of what comes in, not an amount: no earnings are promised or guaranteed, and it is not an investment. The exact terms may be adjusted before launch and will be published here before they start.

Clear rules

The team reviews Points before they count. These behaviours void referrals and their Points:

  • The creator's own or alternate accounts, or accounts sharing a device or network with them.
  • Coordinated batches of sign-ups with the same code.
  • Farm accounts or accounts that play by themselves.

If you have a code, you must tell your audience you are part of the Guildlands creator program when you promote it.
