A mount carries you faster through the open world: the city of Aurelia and the dock island. It gives no attributes: only speed.
- 1Ask Sergeant Iria, in the city, for Riding Permit I from level 10. She gives you the Brown Horse.
- 2Put the mount in its own slot on your character, like a mini-pet.
- 3Press T while standing still: in 2 seconds you are up. Moving cancels it.
- 4Entering a building or starting an outing dismounts you. If you step out right away, you remount on your own.
